How to play guitar hero on the computer

Ok, so you all wanted to learn how to play guitar hero or rockband on the computer. I will teach you how.

Step One
go Here and click on the downloads page and scroll down till you see "Here are the latest official full releases of 2.900:", click on the version of your choice and download it. After it finishes downloading, drag all the files to an empty folder.

Step Two

After you have done that you should start collecting some songs.
open up the folder and go into the folder data. you will need to create a folder called songs. After you have created that folder you can download some songs and drag the folder that the song and chart is in into the songs folder.

Step three

Now your ready to hook up a guitar hero controller. if you have one. Go to microsofts website and download the driver which will allow you to use it. Now go to xpadders website and download xpadder. this program will allow you to set all the buttons on your guitar hero controller. for more information, go here
